Gemma's Story

The 2026 Defender Burghley Horse Trials could not have gone better for Gemma and Chilli Knight. The pair took the lead right from the start, with a winning dressage score of 29.6. They followed that with a faultless cross-country round, on a very big, very technical course. Going into phase three, Gemma and Chilli Knight had four fences in hand! They held their nerve and rode a consistent, careful round to maintain the top spot! 
We're thrilled to have Gemma as an Equimi ambassador. This week she's demonstrated just how much hard work pays off - what a legend!

Gemma And Chilli Knight Win Burghley Horse Trials!

Wow! What a performance from Gemma at the Scone Palace International Horse Trials CCI-S 4*. Right from the start, Cooley Park Muse dominated the entire event. Following a winning dressage score of 28.4, the pair put in two flawless double clears, ending top of the podium after every phase. Both Chilli's Jester and Chilli Morning IV put in strong performances to finish 3rd and 7th respectively. 
These results follow recent wins at Chaumont, Hickstead and Frickley, in addiction to a team first in Aachen! Lets hope the success continues at the 2026 Burghley Horse Trials!
