Just when I thought last week was long!
Today my alarm went off at 1.10AM, again Charlotte Overton and April Kitchener were earlier!
5 horses, 4 humans 3 grown up dogs and 7 puppies to Osberton!
The horses all went super around some really tough courses today.
2x š„ places, the two 7yos both placed and one super but steady XC round.
These 5 young horses are probably the best Iāve ever had so itās worth it for them. The rebuild is real!
I cannot thank my whole team enough, serious dedication.
Gary Stevens for driving both ways, we needed that today. šš
Love these horses so much.
We managed to put the struggles of the last few weeks behind us and had some great runs on some very special horses!
First up was Cooley Park Muze owned by the Rex syndicate who had his first intermediate run and lead from start to finish with a super classy performance to take the WIN what a horse for the future š„
Then Chilliās Jester owned by Chris and Lisa Stone and Chris and Chris and Clare Mathias, and Cooley Couture owned by Pru Dawes were in the Novice. Both horses gave me such beautiful rides and finished on their good dressage scores for 3rd and 8th - they are such classy young horses.
Chilli King, also owned by Chris and Lisa Stone and Chris and Clare Mathias, was up next in the 3* he produced a super test and finished on it with a beyond classy double clear for 5th out of well over 80 competitors. This horse reminds me of Spike, his gallop is unbelievable, with so much scope and bravery. So exciting š
Last but definitely not least was Chris and Lisa Stoneās Chilli Knight who was having a prep run in the 4*. He performed a lovely test and a foot perfect double clear with planned time faults to give him a nice fitness run, keep him in one piece and to keep our eye in ready for that āpony clubā event next month!!
We could have been right up there with the leaders but I chose to keep it steady (much to Alfieās disappointment!) and wait to unleash him in a few weeks time.
5 horses 5 double clears and 5 brilliant XC rounds, feel like Iāve retrieved my mojo and am so excited that the rebuild is starting to come good.
Thank you so much to Musketeer Events for putting on a brilliant event and organising such superb weather! It was like being in another countryāļø
Huge thanks as always to all my team and my owners for being so very supportive - even through the rougher bits!
Thank god for some good results š¤Ŗ

Great day with 3 seriously talented novice horses on Sunday at Tweseldown.
Cooley Park Muze was a winner with a foot perfect Novice run š„
Cooley Couture produced a perfect double clear with a little bit of time XC and Chilliās Jester had a valuable learning day but jumped a super clear XC in a decent novice.
Iām completely thrilled with all of them and the feeling they give me in all 3 phases is unreal. Such talents for the future.
Massive thank you to the whole team at Tweseldown for putting on this Event for us, it was brilliant with great courses and perfect ground!
