Great few days competing with our young horses at Aston le Walls Equestrian Centre.
Great few days competing with our young horses at Aston le Walls Equestrian Centre.

8yo Chilli King (📸 pictured) ran in his first Intermediate and finished a super 4th. He is genuinely feeling every bit a serious horse for the future, he’s so exciting but I won’t be rushing him. I’m pretty certain he’s our next 5* superstar in the making!

Then our 3 babies, Chilli Morning IV, Chillis Jester and Cooley Park Muze all finished on their dressage scores in the BE100 for 3rd, 6th and 5th in their sections respectively.

All 3 feeling like they are top class for the future.

We might not have a huge team of horses but the ones we do have in our stables we feel are world class and that is just the way I like it 🧡

A 9.8 for Rex at Horseheath

It’s been a VERY good day with these 3 lovely young horses. I’m absolutely honoured to ride them all.
I want to say a Huge thank you and well done to Horseheath Horse Trials what a lovely event, from the friendly people on the gate to the lovely xc course and perfect organisation. I will most definitely be going back. What a lovely educational day for all our horses, plus it’s always great to win…. X3!!

Thank you to all my amazing owners and my team for all their support. We’ve got a bright future with these wonderful horses.

"Not only have we seen some fantastic competition in the BE100 Classes this afternoon – but we’ve ended the first day with a phenomenal dressage score of 9.8. Yes, that’s right…nine…point…eight! 😳

It came from Olympic eventer Gemma Stevens on her first ever visit to Horseheath. Gemma had a brilliant day here today, winning three out of the five BE100 classes.

👉 BE100 Section G – riding Chilli Morning IV, a clone of the the world and European eventing medallist and Badminton champion, Chilli Morning, owned by Mr Christopher Stone.

👉 BE100 Section H – riding Cooley Park Muze, finishing first on her dressage score of 9.8

👉BE Section I – on Chilli’s Jester, owned by Mr Christopher Stone and Chris and Clare Mathias"

We had our 3 big baby boys all competing in the BE 100 on Friday…

Chilli Morning IV owned by Chris and Lisa Stone, was just incredible in his first phase to lead the dressage and he went on to jump a super SJ with just a baby rail down and a beautiful clear XC to WIN his section. I have to pinch myself that I get to ride him 😍

Cooley Park Muze owned by the newly formed Rex Syndicate was having his first ever BE run an wow did he impress everyone (including the judges who gave us a score of 15 - yes you read it right!! A 15 dressage!! He then jumped a slightly green showjumping round in the mud but went on to have a superb xc round giving me a serious feeling to finish 5th! He is such an exciting horse for the future 🤩

Chilli’s Jester owned by Chris and Lisa Stone and Chris and Clare Mathias, although very green was such a good boy and did a lovely steady double clear after a slightly wobbly dressage.
He’s a full brother to our amazing Chilli Knight so we have high hopes for his future but he needs plenty of time to strengthen and mature.

What an exciting bunch of baby boys we have!! 💙💙
